I have know idea of the origin of the name as the previous owner didn't know either. I have had the boat for about 18 months and it is moored near Ellesmere on the beautiful Llangollen Canal. I have been boating for quite a while now (on a budget) and my previous boat was a Callumcraft 22. In certain lights on my boat you can see the name "Copperknob" under the paint above the Cabin windows. The boats reg number is 70443.
